If you are not required to file a 2007 tax return but want to receive an Economic Stimulus Payment, you can fill out and file a simple Form 1040A. You only have to fill in a few lines!
You are not eligible for an economic stimulus payment if you or your spouse do not have a valid social security number. Individual taxpayer identification numbers (ITINs) are not acceptable.
Eligible taxpayers who qualify for a payment may receive an additional $300 for each qualifying child. To qualify a child must be under age 17 and have a valid social security number. Individual taxpayer identification numbers (ITINs) and adoption taxpayer identification numbers (ATINs) are not acceptable
If your total income is less than $3,000, STOP. You cannot get a stimulus payment.
