A major vulnerability in the technology that powers encryption across much of the internet was discovered this week. This bug has been codenamed, “heartbleed” after the particular trigger (heartbeat) where the vulnerability could occur. Because the security of your private information is our top priority, we took immediate action to ensure that this does not affect eSmart Tax. We thoroughly examined all of our moving parts to make sure there are no leaks.
eSmart Tax does not use the particular technology associated with Heartbleed and is not affected. Your information has been and continues to remain secure.
