Web Application Developers
We are expanding and have immediate openings for Web Application Developers to join our software development team in the Virginia Beach Area. We are looking for someone with a strong background in designing and developing Internet applications and a good understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts. The person will have the responsibility to design, maintain, and implement new features for our web applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy multi-tier applications using VB, ASP and .Net framework.
- Translate product requirements into robust and consumer-friendly web applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing web applications as required.
- Problem resolution, continuous improvement of processes and operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 3+ years experience as a web application developer working in a team
- 2+ years experience with VB, ASP, C#, ASP.Net and SQL
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and interested in being part of a talented and cohesive team
- Ability to learn new systems, produce reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems.
- Familiar with tax or payroll preparation and filing preferred
