No matter your income or family size, there may be a Marketplace plan that fits your needs. The Health Insurance Marketplace has 5 levels of coverage – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Catastrophic.

The cost of each plan does not determine the quality of care that you will receive but rather the maximum cost that you will pay out-of-pocket on health services throughout the year.


Insurance covers 60%, insured covers 40% of out-of-pocket costs (not premiums).


Insurance covers 70%, insured covers 30% of out-of-pocket costs (not premiums)


Insurance covers 80%, insured covers 20% of out-of-pocket costs (not premiums)


Insurance covers 90%, insured covers 10% of out-of-pocket costs (not premiums)


For people under 30 with hardship exemptions, the ACA gives the option of high deductible catastrophic coverage
